In module settings:

I have "In form mode permit list as well" set with a red "X" for "All Users", "Edit Content" and "Create Record/Submit Form" are check on (green check mark).

"Inherit View permission from page" is checked on, so I have a padlock in the "View" column.

The red x for all users is wrong and the cause of your issue. Set a green check mark for those who should see the email address list.

I have the same issue on DNN 6

I wish to hide the 'Show records' link on the form...

I unchecked the "In form mode permit list as well" for all the roles... The 'All users' should only be allowed to submit the form data...

the administrators should also be allowed to view the data...
