Hello,

I've created a very simple module which displays links. I did this by creating a control ascx file, uploading it to /DesktopModules, then creating the module in DotNetNuke. I've added the module to multiple pages. There will be times when links need to be updated in the module (and all instances of that module), so you only need to edit the control file and then all instances of that module will be updated. I'm looking for a way to make the module control file editable from within DotNetNuke. It does not show up in the File Manager.

Any suggestions? Is it not possible? Should I go about creating the module a different way?

I would NOT do something like that, as allowing users to edit an ascx control is a very risky operation.

If you need to allow items to change, store the information to the database and build an edit interface on top of it.
