There's also the ToolTip module that gets this done. I'd like to see this work for images as well.

That ToolTip module doesn't look bad, but it has 2 drawbacks: it is not free and it doesn't allow for content reusing. I use tooltips like an explanation feature: some important words repeat on many pages and I want their tooltips to take contents from one place, not to define the same tooltip contents for every page and every occurrence of the same word.

Now I try to implement the overLIB library, but IE indicates some script errors. I will work on it.
