I am getting the same error message.  My install is an upgrade to 3.2.2 from 3.1.13 where I had a separate page with the authentication module on it from when I installed the old non core AD stuff.  The upgrade appeared to run fine but I have not got the menu item Admin>>Authentication.  I did a clean install of 3.2.2 and the menu item appeared and AD worked perfectly, but I don’t want to have to make all the changes to 3.2.2 I made to 3.1.13, so I could do with finding out what's going wrong.

Thanks Paul

I ran into that same problem when upgrading, and they haven't fixed it yet with the subsequent three releases.  Basically, if you had the Authentication page in your previous version, it won't create a new one in the Admin menu.  I have to get to that page (it is a hidden page) through the Admin->Pages menu.

I ran into this problem and it seemed to resolve itself with a reinstall of DNN. I made sure to use the release.config as my base web.config file and then changed my DNN setting and updated the web.config file.

Many thanks for your response.  Sure enough I reinstalled the whole site and it worked first time.  Now to the rest of the configuration.

Thanks to all for their contributions - the DNN community is great!

I wish I could do that... We have sooooo many files on the website now that I would have one heck of a mess trying to do a re-install.  So, I have to live with some of the glitches I have until I can figure out a way to fix them while in use.

I certainly don't envy you - attempting to fix version bugs, while at the same time managing a live site.  I'm lucky now, but won't have the luxury for long!

Thanks again for your contributions.
