Hi Chris, First of all, thank you for patiently working with me on this issue.
Yes, I'm talking about the standard HTML module comes with DNN. I did not make any changes to DNN cores, and everything was working fine before the upgrade. As a test, I suppose I can down grade the HTML module to ver 2.1.2. This was the version before upgrade.
As for the DotNetNuke.DLL, it is version 5.4.1.26, and in my modulesettings.ascx.vb, line 117: rowCache.Visible = False

So that last part, rowCache.visible=false shouldn't be there. How did you perform the upgrade for DNN? What steps did you follow? here is my recommended upgrade process

Hi Chris,

I read your blog on the upgrade procedure. It was exactly what I did. I will restore the backup and go over the upgrade again. It's possible that I may have missed something. Will let you know.

I repeated the upgrade process this morning, but this time I took an intermediate step and upgraded to 5.2.3 first before upgrading to 5.4.1.   Both upgrades went through fine and the HTML module display correctly.

I did not change anything in my upgrading process.  The step upgrade seams to do the trick.
