I have a fresh install of DNN 5.4.1 - Nothing is in this instance of DNN... I need to create another portal.

I assume I should be logged in as a Super User - Then go to Host -> Portals... then from here click add new portal. There is no link for adding a new portal. I am confused... where else should I be looking. Seems trivial, but I cannot seem to find how to add a new site... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

you are correct .. host > portals ..thenon top left there is a small blue triangle .... right click

host > portals , top left corner, blue triangle ... > right click, add portal.

make sure to be in edit mode, in oder to get the action menu anchor (triangle) displayed.

 Stupid mistake on my end... I was not in edit mode. I did not realize that even when in the host options to see certain things you must be in edit mode. I have successfully created a parent portal. Now all I have to do is:

1. Create an alias.
2. Create a domain.
3. Then in IIS create a binding for that domain to point to this particular instance of DNN

correct? I think that is it. Thanks for the tips so far.
