When I upgraded to 05.04.02, I got stop in Run Database Installation Scripts and it says undefined failed. I have Object Qualifier. If I do not put in the object qualifier, it succeeds. But that's a new set of data and tables. How should I upgrade with object qualifier?

Thanks
Hy

Hello Hy,

Is there any chance that the default owner or schema are blank in SQL Server.  Perhaps a quick review of those might help, or have the default schema been changed to something other than dbo?

There is default schema and I changed to db_owner.  It still does not work.

Hello Hy,

here is a few lines of code that I used to change schema's for five tables

ALTER SCHEMA dbo TRANSFER db_sailing.BoatCraftTypes

ALTER SCHEMA dbo TRANSFER db_sailing.Countries

ALTER SCHEMA dbo TRANSFER db_sailing.Counties

ALTER SCHEMA dbo TRANSFER db_sailing.BoatServicesTypes

ALTER SCHEMA dbo TRANSFER db_sailing.CourseBookings

If you think that that this is the problem, you can use the above command to correct / fix all your tables, I did it by querying the master db, getting my tables into Excel, constructing the strings and then I could switch schemas quickly when I needed to.

Not sure if it is the problem, but your tables should be dbo.tablename

thanks

Mark

It sounds like you ran the installation zip package instead of the upgrade zip package.
There is no "database installation" screen as you describe in the upgrade package.
From which DNN version are you upgrading?
