Hi Kurt, This solution only works on some of my sites it depends which version of DNN they are running and and which updates were install as some started on 5.2.4 and upgraded to 5.3.1 then upgraded to 5.4.1 and others where done differently and I am getting different problems on different sites all centred around the user profile that was introduced in version 5.3.0 before that version all my sites were working fine. I may have to downgrade back to the previous version of 5.2.4 at least I know it works until they fix this user profile addon that they have done that is causing all this. Thanks Paul

I believe I have some SQL that fixes this issue on existing sites, I will try to dig it up.

Alright so I didn't locate the SQL so I'll write something custom here really quick. Before I do, here's the issue in Gemini

http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...

If you have any portals where you actually have your own custom registration page configured DO NOT RUN THIS SQL, it will change those as well. You will need to manually change your registertabids for those that shouldn't bet set.
BEFORE EXECUTING THE SQL BELOW, BACKUP YOUR DATABASE

update {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}portallocalization
set registerTabId=null

Run that SQL in the Host/SQL page and that should reset all your registration tabids back to nothing, you may need to then reset the website (host/host settings/restart application) in order to clear the cache.

If you have any portals where you actually have your own custom registration page configured DO NOT RUN THIS SQL, it will change those as well.

This SQL above is what corrected my portals that had the registration issue. Hopefully it addresses the issues you guys are having as well.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for  the resolution....I had the same issue. I upgraded  DNN 5.4.4 from  5.0 and everything went smooth until  new user discovered Registration link no longer working....Just to share my info. here ....i checked the Admin\Site Setting\Advance Setting\Page Management  i found the Registatrion Page was set to "User Profile"  cause of upgrade. I changed that to "Not Specified"  and it worked for me.

Thanks anyways..

Thanks
Vijay
