New Community Website

Ordinarily, you'd be at the right spot, but we've recently launched a brand new community website... For the community, by the community.

Yay... Take Me to the Community!

Welcome to the DNN Community Forums, your preferred source of online community support for all things related to DNN.
In order to participate you must be a registered DNNizen

You can also make your own registration module (or change the default one if you are careful about upgrading). I've made one to include a few extra fields and I do some things behind the scenes for the profile. You could easily make it have a field for "Email" instead of "Username", and of course hide the real Email field. Then in the background update the user accordingly. Make sure your reg-ex are set properly so you have valid emails though.

Just in case someone wants this configuration setting in Admin | User Accounts | Advanced Settings | Expand Registration Settings -- check the 7th setting down. There is a checkbox to allow email address as the username.
