Hi,

to host some smaller sites with individual domains I am using the DNN community version. Now I would like to host an additional ASP.Net website with master pages and the like on that same host - it needs to respond to an individual domain, too (no subdomain, no subdirectory).

I think this would not be a problem if I could add additional IP addresses to the host - but those are not available vor the virtual server I am using. Do I have other options? If possible, I would like to avoid redirections. The virtual server runs on Windows Server 2003 R2 Datacenter 64bit BTW.

TIA for any hints, Regards
Tim

You can do this just fine, IIS will just use a host header to do the redirection.  it is done all the time.

Thank you, Mitchel. Embarrassing, I have seen the "Host Header" setting a million times and always thought that you need some magical header to use it to distinguish domains - I never tried inserting www.xyz.com but now and it of course does exactly what I was looking for.

Regards
Tim
