Is anyone working on adding facebook connect type functionality to DNN?  I think this would be a great addition to the OpenID and WindowsLiveID support.  Facebook has 500million+ users.  Anyone agree?

I just meant to add it to the core functionality of DNN as an authentication provider.

Yes, the module is an additional authentication provider. The login modules needs to support it (some custom login modules do not).

I posted a blog post here a while ago on what % of people were using Facebook, OpenID or LiveID to connect to PokerDIY you may find interesting.

Hello Rodney,

Just read your blog on Uptake of alternate logins.  What is FB now?  Also, I cannot put if in perspective without an idea how many total users you have.  If you have 500 then that is big, if you have 15,000 then I have to debate the value of a FB provider.

I have a new site about to go live for 15,000 people and I am debating whether to offer more than one login.  I would like a FB login, but I would love a Google Account Login also.
