I wanted to re-open this thread again as I have now run into an issue whereby Ventrian News Articles is now basically non-supported and I need to move onto a new Blog module.

To make matters worse, I am also using URL Master to do the URL rewriting of all my blog articles, category pages and tag pages (over 3000 pages) and now I am unable to move to DNN 8 as I have been unsuccessful in rewriting the URL Master provider for Ventrian News Articles into a DNN Url Provider as URL Master is not supported in DNN 8 either.

What Blog Module are people using these days?

I would love to use Scott's modules again and if a new 'Newsarticles' module will be released I will certainly look into this and migrate from Live Articles as soon as I get some help with this.

I am a fan of Ventrian modules. However I am forced to conclude that Scott has completely lost interest. The forums are broken; the support site is broken - at least I cannot get to log in to it; the messages that are in the forums go without response.

There is a deafening sound of tumbleweeds blowing through the place and a smell of abandonment.
