I had thought this was resolved back in 4.8.x but I'm seeing reports that it's still an issue - http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/40341/info  is this being addressed in the next release?

The reason I ask is that I recently had a site running 4.9.1 that was apparently compromised using the same vulnerability and SecurityFocus is showing this as existing up until 5.4.2.

I doubt versions are properly assigned. AFAIR this has been fixed with DNN 4.9.3 or 4.9.4

That was my thinking, I've gone ahead and upgraded the site in question to 4.9.5 and will keep an eye on it to see if there's further activity.
