Hi,

We are using DNN community edition ver 5.1 and its successfully installed on development server.

Now we want to deploy the same application on Stage server.. where we have installed same version of DNN (community edition).

After overtiring the site code and Database. Every page is getting redirected to "Underconstruction.htm".

So can you please provide the solution or steps to deploy community edition application on stage/live server.

Generally when you see the UnderConstruction page that is because the database connection isn't configured properly and DNN can't connect.

Did you modify the web.config for the new database connection information on the new server? There are two settings in the web.config for database connectionstrings that you should modify.

Hi Chris,

Yes we have made necessary change in both the connection string in Web.config.

Also Cant we stop that redirection so will get actual error?

Hi Chris, We have made changes in both the connection strings in Web.config. Also the same connection string is working in Blank DNN application which we have created on same server (stage server). Thanks Dinesh.
