Hi
I installed dotnetnuke on a vps hosting with dotnetpanel and after installing it when I enter the website url in address bar it takes much time to load the website for the first time ( about 10 sec) and for the next times it takes about 2 sec to load my website and after a few minutes this problem is reapeted .
It seems that the process for the first time is very long .
may it be because of the configuration in IIs or dotnet panel .
plz help me .

on the first time, the site needs to get compiled, this may take a few seconds, depending on the speed of the server. By default, sites get unloaded after 2 minutes of not being used and need to be recompiled - this configuration may be changed by your hosting provider.

Thank u .
I already know about this but the problem is that the time for the first time compiling is too much .
If you have experience of having websites based on dotnetnuke plz tell me how much time is normal for this pre-compilation process ?

Generally the default is 20 minutes of inactivity, not 2, in my experience. This is a setting in IIS

The normal time can vary by the server and amount of modules installed. Normal performance best practice is to uninstall any modules you aren't using, as they provide code that gets compiled but not used.
