Hi
I installed dotnetnuke on a vps hosting with dotnetpanel and after installing it when I enter the website url in address bar it takes much time to load the website for the first time ( about 10 sec) and for the next times it takes about 2 sec to load my website and after a few minutes this problem is reapeted .
It seems that the process for the first time is very long .
may it be because of the configuration in IIs or dotnet panel .
my website : www.behtinweb.com
plz help me .

Probably being caused by the App Pool recycling in IIS. As part of managing resources IIS will remove from memory an application after a period of inactivity. After this happens the next visitor will trigger the app being recompiled and put back into memory, this is the delay you are probably seeing. You can fix this by either changing the app pool settings or using some external service that will keep loading the website. If you don't have access to the IIS configuration then the 2nd option is the way to go. Have a search for a keep alive service such as http://www.mywebkeepalive.com/ HTH Antony
