Hello.. I have a child portal..  I have portal admins configured but when the the ribbon bar is used, they don't have the admin tab nor is the admin link shown.

If they put in the admin.aspx page, they can get there fine.

Any ideas why the ribbon bar isn't displaying this info correctly?  -Jeff

WHich DNN version are you running, I remember an issue like this being logged. if you are already running latest version, you might switch back to icon control panel in host settings.

Just Installed DNN6 at godaddy using their installer. There is no control panel in the ribbonbar and I have no control over the site. I dont have the code files or execution privileges. What can I do?

Caz,

1. Are you logged into the newly created site as admin or host user?
2. The control panel in DNN 6 is very different from that of earlier versions. When logged in as admin user do you see the top level menu items "Admin", "Modules", "Pages", "Tools" to the left of the very top of the page? When logged in as host user you should also see the top level menu item "Host". Hover over the desired item and a context menu of commands will be displayed.
