I'm working with an install of DNN Pro 5.04.00 (108) - We're not the licensees, just hired for skinning and initial setup.

I've added a page, however forgot to specify the Parent Page (Doh!). It popped up in the root (naturally). I went to the page settings and changed the "Parent Page" attribute to the proper level ( Departments > A-J   for reference, > defining a sublevel).  Now, I can't find the page anywhere. I checked Admin > Pages and all the roll overs but nothing.

I tried adding the page again (with the correct parent page this time) and now it tells me that a page already exists at that level... but I can't see it.

Help? Thoughts?

There were definitely some bugs with page management that were address in 5.4.4, you might check to see if that addresses your issue. Though you likely will need to dig into the TABS table in the database to correct the PATH column in the missing tables if 5.4.4 doesn't directly fix this. You might also submit a support ticket to the DotNetNuke Support Network with the account that purchased the PE version.

Thanks for the reply, we were able to dig into the DB and correct the entry. Glad to hear this was finally resolved, it had been causing plenty of headaches for us when clients were trying to manage their sites.

Hi, could you please clarify whether 5.4.4 fixes the Pages bug (reported here: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/V...)  I encountered this issue in DNN 5.4.1 and as a result have stopped installing DNN5 and have gone back to DNN4 for my clients' portals. I would very much appreciate knowing if I can use the Admin>Pages tool again for those in DNN5 if I upgrade, as I am not entirely comfortable with edting the Tabs table directly - for instance, my top level tabs are now out of order and I do not know how to get them back (with Home on the left - see www.kconinc.com ), after About disappeared completley previously, I got it back using the table but now it is the only tab showing on mobile platforms...
Thanks.
