We have upgraded our servers and are needing to move our installation from one server to another. Plus move the database they are connected with.

I have already moved all the files, but they still all point to .80 (The old database server)
I need to move them to the database which is a direct copy of the .80

In the web config I pointed the database connection to the new server .72, but it kept acting like it needed to be installed all over again.

I currently still have it all pointed at the .80, but need help understanding how to move everything over to a new server.

Thanks,

you need to add new domain address as additional portal alias (either via GUI prior to the move or directly in database, table PortalAlias
