My nonprofit's website is currently running on DNN 4.4.1.  I know we should have upgraded ages ago but we're in the process of a total revamp of our site so our current version's in its last few months of operations.

For the past week, the CMS has been running extremely slowly - taking 10 mins+ to load each page.  It's not a server issue - the rest of the site's running fine.  I contacted our hosting company and there's nothing they can do.

I'm the communications coordinator and I have no IT support for the website. The programming was a donation from before I started working here and I have no contact person for support.

Can someone please tell me how to rectify the situation?

Thank you very much,
Courtney

The first thing I would do is look at the database. I imagine that database is probably HUGE after years of little maintenance and that's causing a performance issue.
