I have been playing around with the Form and List module and must first say, NICE JOB.  This is going to become one of my primary, and favorite modules.

When using the HTML to XSLT generator I noticed what I think is a bug.  As part of them template I have added the "AddThis" code to the detail view.

<a href="http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php?v..." class="addthis_button_compact">Share</a>

Notice the HTML escaped "&amp;" in the query string.  I don't think it is standard to use an HTML escape code in a query string, but that is how it comes directly from the AddThis code generator.  Anyway.  If you enter this in to the HTML textbox for the Form and List HTML to XSLT generator you will get an error after editing the template.

SO...  The steps to replicate this are:

  • Create a new XSLT generated from HTML using the line above.
  • Open the saved XSLT file.
  • Check the url.  The "&amp;" will be changed to an "&".

I am not sure if this is intended or the parser working a little too well.  The only work around I have found is just to change it back to "&amp;".  If you don't the HTML will throw parser errors and list the "&" as the problem.

Once again, NICE JOB on this module.  And I am off to search the forms for a way to add XML/RSS output.

Cheers!
