Every time I try the install with the web installer I get the following:

>DownloadManager Error: 0 : Error while downloading file 'http://dotnetnuke.codeplex.com/Project/Download/FileDownload.aspx?DownloadId=128764'. Exception: System.Net.WebException: InternetReadFile returned 0x80072EE2: Unknown error 12002.
   at Microsoft.Web.PlatformInstaller.ManagedWinInet.ThrowGetLastErrorException(String offendingFunction)
   at Microsoft.Web.PlatformInstaller.ManagedWinInet.DownloadFile(Uri uri, String fileName, String& contentDispositionFileName)

Sounds like a download problem athough I've no idea what.

Any ideas?

I can get a good installation with the manual download. My problem with that was when I started going thru a desktop module tutorial there were some references to some user controls (text editor was one)  and my sample would not build because some properties in the UC were not defined.

are you connected to the internet using a proxy or is a virus scanner intermitting?
