I'm trying to install DNN on a Verio shared IP account and I'm running into a permissioning problem.  I want my portal to be a top level portal - for example I want to be able to access it with www.MySite.com rather than www.MySite.com/Site.  I'll be adding multiple portals (all top level) as we move forward.

I've copied all the DNN installation files to the top level of my Verio account so everything is under Webroot.  When I go to run the install I get an error:

Access to the path 'D:\Webs\MySite\web.config' is denied.

I don't think I have the ability to modify permissions at this top level.  Should I be installing this in a folder off the top level?  If so, how do I access it with www.MySite.com?

Thanks,

BK

BK, hi!

Were you able to get DNN installed on the verio shared server?

If so, can you give me a quick "how to" run down?  I have been experiencing trouble in do so, myself.  thanks!
