After searching the net and re-registering ASP .NET and requesting that Go Daddy remove the prior install of DNN it appears to have removed all my files. I will re-upload and see what happens. I will post if this resolves the problem...

Before extracting the DotNetNuke install package zip did you first "Unblock" the extraction of files that Windows considers potential security risks? These include .vb files, etc.. To "Unblock" the package zip - right-click over the package filename or file icon, select "Properties" from the context menu, if "Unblock" button appears, click on it. Then extract the files from the zip as usual.

If you had not done the "Unblock" procedure before the prior upload, try uploading all the extracted files to your site's root folder on GoDaddy.

Also verify that the extracted web.config file has been uploaded to the site's root folder as a missing web.config file can also be a cause of this error.

William,

Thanks for your help! I ended up installing this into the root directory. Go Daddy let's you unzip files with their file manager so I uploaded the .zip and unzipped it, changed the file permissions on the root directory, created a fresh DB and all is right with the world now.

Thank you again!
Don
