Has anyone tried running Telerik in the GAC (Global Assembly Cache)? I'm interested in doing this to reduce our memory load since we have around 19 DNN installations on one of our Servers.

Ideally, this would allow us to remove the Telerik DLL from the bin directory in each install and it would improve site load time and decrease memory use.

I'm concerned about versioning issues since the DNN versions range from 4.9.4 to 5.5.0. Just wondering if anyone else has tried this and if it's worth the effort?

David, I'm not sure this would work - the version of the dll telerik supply us with is not strong-named so can't be added to the GAC.
