No one has seen this issue or knows of it?

I find the current forums seem to lack replies.  The old asp.net forums seemed to be more active while I find here it is very hard to get any sort of reply.  I hope the community is not shrinking :(

Frustrating that more help isn't forthcoming, huh?  I have the same error show every few days.  The only scheduled task I have enabled is the PurgeUsersOnline.  In that task, I've changed the frequency from every 1 min, to every 3 min, and unchecked the "retry after" setting.  That was the suggestion from another post I started in another forum.  Unfortunately, the error still shows every few days.

The error used to show up more often, but I started doing more of the site maintenance tasks manually, such as cleaning out the recycle bins in each portal, synchronizing the database and file system thru the file managers, reindexing thru the search admin, and clearing the logs & cache.  It's a real pain, even with 4 small portals, but seems to help keep the site responsive, and fewer errors!

Still, I get that error more often than I care to, and wish someone would come up with an answer.  Sorry this wasn't much help (except maybe to keep your thread alive in hopes of a fix).

Wish I could help you but I don't think I've seen this problem.  I don't see anything about it when I do a search on this forum either.  However, there are hits at forums.asp.net; here are a few you might want to check out:

http://forums.asp.net/thread/904311.aspx

LOL I just ran into your own post there at asp.net!

Regrettably, I'm having the same experience as you; at least recently there does seem to be less activity here on the official forums.  A couple reasons are probably that the email notifications are messed up right now (I think the email notifications encourage more activity; people can't actually update their email addresses in the forums right now!) and also I saw a post yesterday, apparently discussion about third-party modules is prohibited on these forums, if the discussion can be considered support for the third-party modules.  That would surely reduce the amount of forums activity, as well as the overall sense of community.
