I am running on Arvixe as my host:
Everthing is work fine except I cannot set the SMTP Server settings
I get an error when i click the test button.

I do not know what to ask of the hosting tech support staff.
I am using Event Reg 4.5 which supplies the email address

I am told anoymous setting is OK
I believe I only need the name of the SMTP Server and possibly the port

what do i need to do specifically???

well I can't help with that, Sorry
My email configuration tests fine but I don't actually get an email.  I have redone it with several email accounts and smtp servers. I have checked telnet and it appears to be configured correctly.  I just don't get an email.

Oh and no errors in the log about it either
