I'm having the same issue. I started with a fresh install of DNN 5.5.0 and the search results page always came up blank.  I login as the Host user, then do a search, I get this:

This module is hidden to regular users if there is no Search=xxx querystring parameter.

I have since upgraded (using the upgrade package) to 5.5.1.  Still isn't working.

I have check the "Search Engine Scheduler" and it's reporting "True" in it's history. Seems fine.

My site is pretty simple, puchased skin, CataLook with no admin/host setting modifications from the orginal install.  Take a look: http://www.allysjewelry.com/default.aspx

Let me know what you think.

Thanks.

Chris, from a quick search it looks like Catalook doesn't support ISearchable, thus it won't be indexed by DNN's search engine.

Yeah, I'm not worried about catalook since it has it's own product search module. I'm speaking about DNN's default search input/results page function. If I use the search input field on the skin or place the search input module on a page and do a search, the result is the same... It gives me that error mentioned above.

It looks like your search box in your skin doesn't actually work properly. If you type in http://www.allysjewelry.com/SearchResults/tabid/41/List/0/Default.aspx?search=test you get "no results" Did you create the skin yourself? Is it using the standard search skin object? Also the "list/0" portion of the URL shows up, perhaps Catalook is doing a redirect when that isn't passed, and that is causing issues on the search results page?
