Don't get rid of it, just make that task to happen every 2 days, just to see what is going on.

Putting a DNN site on a dedicated pool ON SHARED HOSTING is slowing things down, because usually the memory size is not more than 32k (or less). Ask your hoster the pool size.

Have you changed the caching to Heavy ? Do you use disk or memory for paging ? Is the SQL server ok, because usually the timeouts come from the SQL. Not always but usually.

Page State Persistence currently = PAGE
Module Cache Provider currently = FILE
I just changed the Cache Setting to Heavy.

I'm waiting for my provider to tell me the size of my app pool, but I assume that I don't want to specify memory for Page State Persistence and Module Cache Provider if I have limited Memory resources????? Thanks again for all of your advice.

Changing the caching to heavy will help a lot, also TRY the Cache provider from File (DISK) to Memory and see how to goes.

Thanks Dimitris. I changed these as you suggested and I'll let it go for a bit and report back on my results. I also haven't received any time out notifications from my keep alive provider since changing the cache to heavy. My hosting provider is researching my last failures so we'll see what turns up.
