I am using DNN 5 with the default Skin (MininalExtropy).

I login as Admin, go to Admin page, Site Settings then Appearance and Upload a file in Body Background section and upload/ save it, then Update.

However it does NOT seem to change the background.  If I come back to site settings, the Image shows in the Body Background section, but it does not change the look of the site.

What am I doing wrong??

Joel,

i think setting the body background through site settings is a legacy feature, which actually can be overridden by the skin, in other words, the skin needs to support it (and most modern skins probably don't).

If you want to change the background, you would need to change that in skin.css in the skin folder (/portals/_default/skins/MinimalExtropy)
