If I create multiple web sites with my DNN installation do I need a separate database for each site? (My hosting provider charges $15/mo per database.)

Thanks

You will only need one database for each DNN installation. Multiple DNN installations can even share a single database if you use a prefix for the table names.

Sorry, Lars, the feature of multiple DNN installations sharing a single database has been broken since DNN 3. However, a single DNN installation with multiple web sites (portals) always use a single Database for all sites.

Cheers from Germany,
