Hi all,

I am facing an issue when I am trying to install a module which I have develop.

I am trying to install it and I am getting the following message

A critical error has occurred.
Could not find file 'C:\inetpub\vhosts\{path}\httpdocs\Install\Temp\k3jqm1ne\StrouMfios_VerticalSlider.VerticalSlider.dnn'.

Is something that I have to do, when the module is being  developed or when I create it as package?

most likely, the ASP.Net account is missing file system permissions to create folders.

Thanks for your reply.

I installed a 3rd party module (forum) without any problem.
If it was permissions issue, then I would have the same problem for this as well.

Is the manifest file "StrouMfios_VerticalSlider.VerticalSlider.dnn" included in the root of the install package that you created?

How did you create the manifest file and the install package?

In what version of DotNetNuke did you develop the module and create the install package?

In what version of DotNetNuke are you trying to install the module?

Yes, the "StrouMfios_VerticalSlider.VerticalSlider.dnn" is included in the root folder of the package.

Well, for the manifest file:
"host->module Definitions-> edit module -> Create Package" I checked out the "Use Existing Manifest:" in order to be recreated the file.

The module has been developed in 05.04.04 (2) version and I am trying to install it in the same version.
