My last post was a cut and paste from the web.config file. I can't see any spelling errors in the tag: Thanks for taking the time so far to help :D

The entries in web.config are case sensitive. It should be:

<customErrors mode="Off"/>

Note the capital "O" in "Off". Also, note that unless an unhandled application error is being thrown each time the site is hit, you will not see prior errors. For those that have been logged, look in the Admin --> Event Viewer.  Also, note that you should change the customErrors mode back to "Remote" as soon as possible as leaving it on "Off" is a major security concern.

O.K tried again today and got the erros to show. Here is the top part of the error:

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level.  This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

Source Error:

The error refers to line 95 where the Machine Validation key and Decryption Key are. I was not sure if it was safe to post them here, so I erred on teh side of caution and decided not to post them.

If I am ready this right I will have to contact my hosting company and get them to change the IIS settings? My hosting company is Web Host 4 Life.

Cheers

 I'm sorry that I'm not adding any help with this post but you might want to search these forums for that host.  IIRC they don't have a good reputation.

Doh. I renewed my subscription with them only 2 months ago. But I did argue with them and got a discount.
