When I build the web site the output window reports that everything built fine.  The "error list" dialog reports the following errors.  I have searched extensively without finding any information.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I read the link that you supplied. Maybe my knowledge is insufficient but I did not see the relevance.  I am building DNN 4.0.3 using Visual Studio 2005.  I just did a clean install of DNN and the same errors reappear.  I did go clean out the temporary files in the "Temporary ASP.NET Files" folder which did not seem to help.  The files giving the error (assemblyinfo.vb and global.asax.vb) are in the [App_code] directory.  Forgive my ignorance,  I do not have a lot of experience with ASP.NET although I have written device drivers for Windows.  Thanks for your help.

After total frustration I reinstalled the .NET framework 2.0 and the problem disappeared. God only knows!  Working with device drivers seems so much simpler!!!
