Hi,

We have a DNN site on our development environment and it was working great for a month now.
Until yesterday, when we browsed the site, it just goes to [urlsite]/Install/UnderConstruction.htm.
Would you know the reason for this behaviour? We didn't do anything bizarre recently.

Why is it Under Construction all of a sudden? I'm the only one who administers the IIS for this one and I didn't do anything with it.

Hmm... it looks like I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I've searched the internet, but restarting the IIS didn't do any good. Based on what I've read, developers from DNN can't pinpoint why this is happening.

Ooops My bad. after checking the windows log, I found out that the SQL user account I'm using has expired. I forgot to set it to not expire. It's all good now. Thanks.

Yup, that's a pretty common issue if you have SQL Accounts set to require a password change. Not an ideal configuration in a web world :D

when creating a sql server account, make sure to disable password policies and "user needs to change password on first logon" :))
