Hi,

It's realy strange! If the correct resource file contains your changes, they should be displayed! Did you tried to restart your DNN instance?
Could you create a SuperUser account for me (Host > SuperUsers) and send me the account infos, I will look at your config.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I'm afraid I can't grant you access, as the test site only exists on my laptop and is only up when I'm working on it; and I don't know how to let you get through my firewall to get at it.  (Not the great network expert here.)  It's very kind of you to offer.  I restarted the instance at least once with no effect, I may try it again.

I've now read through the Store Templating Guide and I have some ideas about how to approach this; for one thing, the control of text in the "Search" menu is not in the files I was updating, it's in another file (don't have my notes handy but ref. Chapter 2).  I'm also considering installing Visual Studio Express, that may make this easier.

Hi,

OK, just one more question. Have you installed the source version or the classic install package?

I installed the classic install package, not the source version.

I finally got the labels in the Store Search module corrected - as the templating guide says, you change them in the Catalog.ascx file.  I noticed something odd in Languages.  When I edited ProductDetail.ascx, Language editor created ProductDetail.ascx.Portal-0, and that's where the changes I made show, although they don't show on the active store windows.  But there's no Catalog.ascx.Portal-0, and the changes I made in that do show in the active store windows.  And yes, I have restarted the application.  I've realized that what still shows "Manufacturer" etc. in the individual product pages are the field names.  The name at the top of the single product page is "Events" not "Products", but the links on the Admin page still use the old nomenclature.  This is very awkward.  I'm doing more research.
