Hi, yesterday my host had some problems and I lost the required access in the IIS accounts, aswell has plesk ftp etc... anyway the access is not setup again I've checked it my self and the portal runs.

The problem is when uploading I can't see folders inside the "0" folder, trying to use the file Manager I get lots of erros, like this:

Another thing... no user shows any permissions, not even Administrators... If I try to apply them I get the same error....

In host settings I've confirmed that the IIS User is the one I see In plesk, and this user has full acess :|

I've recovered the DB to 5/11 and I still see the problem so I guess it was already there!

I just remembered one last thing to try... this could be some weired thing in web.config, maybe impersonation or something the hosting changed when the permissions problem occurred so I just downloaded a fresh 5.6 web.config.

Ofc I've edited the sql settings machine key and the proper module changes some module require and in my case set the uniqueEmail to yes

Its working, still not sure what could be changed, I would have to look carefully in the old web.config!

I hope this post helps other people in future :)
