Hi All,

Im a new user of DotNetNuke, my website worked fine till I installed a module which I downloaded from www.wrox.com regarding module development. The installation of the module had no errors, so I created a new blank page and added this module to the page. I then continued to create my OWN module and did not touch the website at all and did not even install my own created module to the website. But when I went back to the website wanting to install my module, it told me to login so I clicked the "login" link at the top of the page and the page that is displayed shows "Account Login" with a locked icon over the word and nothing else. I tried many times but it still shows me this page, so I cant login at all because I cant even see the textboxes to enter my username and password.

Im using the latest community edition of DNN and SQL Server 2005 and VS2008.

Thanks.

Rgds,
Jessie

it sounds like the module you've installed is causing a compilation error - this is most likely in the app_code folder. Please look in this folder and if you see a folder named the same as the module, you could try removing it (and also removing the line that references it in web.config) so the application will correctly compile and load (please backup the files before trying this)
