I'm creating a single signon pass-through from one client to another. How can I populate the XML with data pertaining to the logged in DNN user?

You cant use xml as such to force this sort of signon to happen.

Have a look on www.snowcovered.com  - there is a module called AUTOLOGIN

It does the sort of thing you are looking for by passing query values in the url

You can pass context information like the name of the current user or other profile values as querystring to the xml source.
You can also set this kind of data as parameter to the XSLT script.
