I need help modifying the xml/xsl module... I am new to DNN with community ed 5.6, but proficient in vb.net.
What I'm trying to achieve is to extend the module to include a setting that you can specify a sql stored procedure to call that will return the xml data. This stored procedure also needs to accept a parameter from the querystring to filter the data returned. My aim is to specify sql server as the data source for the xml instead of a file or url.

I have downloaded the xml source and am trying to get to grips with the inner workings of the framework. Any help/pointers will be appreciated.

Another thing to do would be to output xml from the sql db and if you need to use it together with xml data from another source, merge the 2 xml files before using the DNN xml module. I am doing this quite a bit, use a simple aspx file on my server to do the combining of the 2 or more xmls into one before calling the final one in DNN xml.
