Yeah, it's a huge improvement over the SolPart version... It seems a little bit more finicky about how it's placed in the container, but once it's setup right, it's great.

The best part is that I've been able to turn compression back on with no problems what so ever!

I don't use either the Solpart action or primary menus, but am having this same problem. I use the third party Northsky menu and action menu, which is a simple one similar to the one on codeplex.

It's a rather serious problem because this knocked out my payment gateway. Customers simply ended up on a dead page. Anyone could have this problem without knowing they're losing sales.

Just a quick comment on the payment gateway issue - we found problems in this area related not to the compression error - but more so due to changes in how the url friendly rewriter works.
