no, i'm afraid not. We don't provide patches as there would be a huge number required i.e. each bug to each version and there are many interdependencies that mean in many cases a patch would not be possible without providing large chunks of the framework.

Hey Cathal,

Yep im aware of the change in update cycles - but ironically it seems like the longer QA cycle failed to find the major - site is dead issues - being reported all over the forums.

Its a cause of frustration for the core development team.

Very much understand that ken ... been pulled back into the dnn cycle at 5.6 with old clients deciding its time to update - and it is those in most cases that are causing the problems - sites that have regularly updated are good for the most part.

Much harder I guess to catch those sort of issues in a beta cycle - since generic regression testing never seems to cover the odd things users do to a site thats been running for a couple of years.

I have the same problem with one of my clients site and I have 9000+ portal alias. Can we get a fix ASAP or can you guys let us know when 5.6.2 is coming out or a temp fix. Thanks
