Greetings,

               I've been working on this for days . I'm an old master of basic and html trying to convert to new tech. I'm running Windows server 2003, using IIS 6.0, asp.net 2.0.50727, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and DotNetNuke 4.0.3 Install. I've so far been able to figure things out, until now. I'm stuck on;

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file D:\DotNetNuke\App_Data\Database.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

It's driving me nuts. I'm pretty sure I missed nothing. Can someone please help?

There are a number of reasons for this happening (none of which are dotnetnuke specific). This http://www.opinionatedgeek.com/Blog/blogentry=000149/Blog.aspx links to a few of the common fixes and offers advice.
