Thank you for the reply.  I figured out that I did not have a valid email address.  So that solved the problem of email.  However, as the logged in user I do not see the downloads link you speak about.

Please advise,
Thanks,
Dennis

Please verify in the Store Admin module if the setting 'Checkout Mode' is defined to 'Registration Required' and if the setting 'Allow Virtual Products' is checked. Only a store with registration required can use this feature. If both are correctly defined, you should see: Store | My cart | Addresses | Order history | Downloads in the Store Account module.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Thanks Gilles!!

I got that working now.

However, a couple last questions I hope. :-)

Why after a person buys something and it is paid for do they have a cancel button?
If a user clicks on the Cancel button, I notice they are not removed from the role they purchased?
Is there any way to set a role expiration?
Are there any plans to allow for paypal or authorize.net subscription payments?

That is all for now :-)

You can disallow cancelation by unchecking the setting 'Authorize Cancel' in the Store Admin module. A user can cancel a paid order because some country require this by law, in this case the associated role is removed (logical no?). The Store module do not refund payment, you have to do it using your backoffice payment system.
When a role is linked to a product, the DotNetNuke expiration rules apply! :-) As a sample, if your role is for 30 days the Store module add the user to this role for the same period. If the user buy 2 or more products, then the period is multiplied by the product number.
There is no current plan to allow subscription payment systems, but may be in future versions.

It's 7:40 AM here (near Paris-France), I have to sleep a little after a hard night at work! ;-) If you have more questions, please wait some hours. :-)

Evening Gilles ...at least here in Ohio, USA.

Thank you so much for the assistance you have provided thus far.  I have a few more questions which have entered my thoughts as we have been testing the new release of Store 03.00.00.

You speak of the roles that expire in DNN.  We understand how to add a role under Admin---Roles but we do not see a place where you can add say, a role "Test Role" and then set the expiry to 30 days.  I understand the logic you used to describe how this would work but I do not see how to add the expiry to a role.  If I could get that knowledge then I could add that expired in 30 day role for example to the product and it would solve our short-term problem.  Thoughts?

Next, you mention in your reply to me to find the 'Enable Content Indexing' and then I can add many different Store modules to a site.  I do not know where to find this.  I looked in documentation and do not see a reference.  Can you point me in the proper direction?  I am assuming we could use this feature to allow different roles to see different products.  At this point in my testing when I added a new store module to the same site and added a product it added it to the category view in the other store module which already existed.  This sort of defeated the purpose of my test.

Finally, I remember in previous versions of the store being able to run promotional pricing for a period of time for a product.  I no longer see this ability and that is obviously a major feature for an ecommerce site to allow for sale price.  Thoughts?

Thanks for your kind reply,
Dennis Kyle
