Hi everyone,

I recently managed to update my DNN 4.8.2 install to 5.6.1 (unintelltionally) since my hosting provider had an outage which deleted all the flat text files comprising my installation, but not the underlying database.

I've got the connection string working and the DNN installer successfully upgraded and the site is back up with the same tabs and modules and content etc. However, since the outage removed the original web.config that was present (and I unfortunately didnt keep a backup) I cant now login since the original validation key is missing.

short of deleting the database to start again, is there anything that can be done? or is this the only remaining viable option?

thanks for any help anyone can give,

Neil
