I'm wanting to create a page on our site that enables a customer/dealer to enter data into a form and receive back a freight quote. Fields on the form would be something like  :

Destination City
Destination Zip
Weight

And after submitting, that page, in the background, not only creates a dynamic hyperlink using that form data (i.e. - www.yrc.com/quote/&City=DYNAMICDATAHERE&Zip=DYNAMICDATAHERETOO&weight=WELOVEDYNAMICDATA) but it then takes the returned XML data, finds the correct data point inside that XML file (Quote Amount) and displays the correct amount to the user...after it does a quick factor calculation to increase the amount by our required margin.

I'll be honest - I don't even know where to start. We have a Form Master 2008 module on our site, but I'm not even sure if that is the right place to start. If you can't tell already - I'm a novice that is eager to learn.

Thanks in advance for your time, I know it's no fun to hand-hold.

Any help would be EXTREMELY appreciated!!
