Working on an ecommerce project. The site will have heavy traffic during certain periods of the year. Request is to the whole site off. Showing nothing but a plain msg. Superuser/admin users can still login the turn the site live.

Do we have such feature in DNN?

One option would be to use the "Portal Expires" feature. This will display a skinned page with a message stating the portal has expired on whatever date you choose. The expired message text can be changed to any message you'd like in the Languages management tab. Super users will still be able to login to the site.

Another option is to create a rule in PortalKeeper in order to display a specific page to all visitors but super users.
You can set up many more rules with this innovative module so that your portal makes decisions by itself.
