Thank you for the response.n We had a 3 dayt weekend so that is why the delay in my response.

Site B is a parent portal that points to the same folder in Site A.
There are 2 virtual directories within IIS. Should they be together or set-up differently?

I'm pretty sure I've had setups like that in testing but my test system died on me last week and I'm in the process of creating a new one. I may have a chance to test this out tonight or tomorrow night and get back to you.

That would be great Mike.

I think that I have looked through almost every forum on AD and nothing similar seems to be out there.

Thanks,

Josh

One more thing, when I am logged in as host and switch sites it passes the host user info. And at certain times when I am logged in as myself it will pass my credentials.

I'm running about 120 seperate portals under one install here, and it works great... One thing to note is that the cookie will maintain your logged in status between parent and child portals, while two parent portals will have seperate cookies because they are different domain names.

Otherwise, you are correct, only one web.config, only one AppPool, and only one WindowsSignIn.aspx file. Each individual portal will need to be configured with the AD provider, but that should be identical information for all portals. You should not get a message warning you about different anonymous access to the WindowsSignIn.aspx file because the same file should be in use. Check your AppPool settings, that might be where you problem is located. It acts funny if you don't have the right settings.
