Hi Dan,

Are all of those sites using AD Authentication?
That is the key with the 2 sites that I am running. The settings in IIS are identical.

Josh, I didn't get home until late last night so I didn't get a chance to test but something occurred to me that I wanted clarification on.... Are these two separate portals on one DNN instance or is it a case of two URLs pointing to the same DNN Portal (one portal with two portal aliases)?

Hi Mike,

It is 2 parent portals on 1 DNN instance. When I set up the 2nd portal I created the separate virtual directory.
I double checked all of my settings yesterday and in both the AD provider and the IIS were identical.

 There we go... Remove the virtual directory, and simply change your DNS server to the same IP address for both domains.  The only thing you need to change is to add in the portal alias that matches.

Yes, almost all of my portals are using AD authentication.

So right now I am in a testing environment on one of our dev servers for these Intranet sites.
Each of the portals have portal aliases set up already with the correct address.
So you think I can delete the virual directory for the second portal and that should fix?
