Hi All

I have created a few child portals on an installation however I would like to now map a domain name to the child portal. Address being portals.gnrweb.co.uk/nb

I have forward DNS and then added domain name to edit binding of the portal. Then added Portal Alias and checked the name.

I have also ping the domain name and it pointing to the server.

Have I missed a step?

I created a video on this topic a few months ago.

It sounds like you have the proper steps done though. How did you add the alias? Through the web, or in the DB directly? If via the DB, you should recycle the application pool after adding it.
